Mined agricultural fields in Ukraine threatens to unleash “unprecedented wave” of global hunger and destitution

Ukraine is one of the world’s largest producers and exporters of grains and oilseeds. Ukrainian grain was supplied to most countries where hunger is the main problem. As a result of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, some 300,000 square kilometers of Ukrainian land turned out to be mined.
