The UA SALVATION Fund Participated in Drone Testing for Demining
The field tests of high-tech drones for demining were carried out at the training ground of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kyiv region. Deputy Head of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations on Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization, Primush Roman Borisovich, and Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management, the Deputy of Ukraine, Bondarenko O.V. participated in drone testing.
Russia’s war caused by the Russian aggression and terrorism against Ukraine is likely something endless. But the challenge of unexploded shells is already several times greater than was expected.
The first drone flew for only a few minutes while using a magnetometer to scan magnetic fields in the area. Additionally, everything that lay beneath the terrain was detected by the 1st aircraft. After the first was landed, another one (the 2nd aircraft) took off and flew over the same territory. It contained a device that scans non-metallic fragments for possible explosives in the soil.
